Professional Standards & Ongoing Development

I voluntarily follow the DVSA Driving Instructor Code of Practice and the Driving Instructors Association Code of Conduct. I regularly update my training and knowledge to stay sharp and provide the best possible instruction.

I have completed safeguarding training to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils, and infection control training to maintain a safe learning environment. I am committed to ongoing CPD (continuing professional development) so my teaching reflects the latest best practices and road safety guidance.

I’m also a registered Pass Plus instructor, offering advanced post-test training for newly qualified drivers who want to build confidence on motorways, at night, or in challenging conditions.

 

Local Knowledge That Makes a Difference

With deep familiarity of Codnor, Ripley, Alfreton, Swanwick and surrounding areas, I guide pupils through challenging road systems and help them build the confidence to drive independently wherever life takes them.

I also have extensive experience preparing learners for the Ashfield Driving Test Centre, including its common routes, tricky junctions, and local traffic patterns. This means I can help you feel confident and ready, not just for the test, but for driving safely beyond it.
