I take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information I collect and how I use and protect it when you enquire about or take driving lessons with me.

driving licence details, including a DVLA check code where required;

2. How I Use Your Information
I use your information to:

respond to enquiries and manage lesson availability;

check your entitlement to drive where appropriate;

maintain appropriate business, legal and regulatory records.
My main lawful bases are contract, where processing is needed to arrange or provide tuition, and legitimate interests, where reasonably necessary to manage enquiries, pupil records and my business.
Where I rely on consent, you may withdraw it.
3. Storing and Sharing Your Information
I take reasonable steps to keep your information secure using password-protected devices and secure cloud services.
I do not sell your personal information.
I use trusted service providers including:

Wix, for my website and online forms;

Microsoft, for email, communications and electronic storage; and

CookieYes, for managing cookie information and visitor choices.
Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to meet legal or regulatory requirements or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
4. How Long I Keep Your Information
I do not keep personal information for longer than reasonably necessary.
Enquiry information that does not result in tuition will be deleted when no longer required.
Pupil and lesson records will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for tuition, business records and applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Information that is no longer required will be securely deleted or disposed of.
5. Photographs and Publicity
After you pass your driving test, I may ask whether you would like a photograph taken.
This is optional. Your photograph, name or other identifiable information will only be published with appropriate written consent.
Refusing consent will not affect the service you receive.
6. Your Rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

access personal information I hold about you;

have inaccurate information corrected;

request deletion or restriction of your information;

object to certain processing; and

withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
