Recently, the DVSA issued an alert about false information circulating on social media regarding driving practices, including claims that learners can drive unaccompanied. This information is not accurate.
It’s important to remember:
- Only the DVSA and official government channels issue valid updates.
- If there are ever changes to driving rules or test requirements, learners will be contacted directly through official channels.
- Social media rumours can spread quickly, but they are not a reliable source of information.
As your instructor, I’ll always make sure you have the correct, up-to-date guidance. If you come across something online that doesn’t sound right, please check with me or visit the official DVSA website.
✅ Learning to drive is challenging enough without misinformation. Stick to trusted sources, and you’ll always be on the right road.
