Congratulations to Amy from Ripley

Amy Sloan from Ripley passed her driving test today with just one driving fault, delivering a calm, confident and genuinely impressive drive. As an instructor specialising in automatic lessons, it's always a pleasure to see a learner show the standard they've built, and Amy did exactly that.

I taught her brother Scott back in 2022, and while he occasionally drove like he thought he was entering Ripley Grand Prix, Amy brought a much more relaxed, controlled style.

What made today stand out was how clearly nerves can affect even the strongest drivers. The moment the examiner appeared, you could almost see the shift that classic test‑day tension. But Amy settled quickly, stayed focused, and proved exactly what she’s capable of.

Amy is an absolutely brilliant driver, and today she earned every bit of that pass. Well done, Amy enjoy the freedom and stay safe on the roads.
