A huge well‑done to Aimee Young from Swanwick, who passed her driving test first time with just 4 driving faults. An outstanding achievement and a brilliant way to start her driving journey.
Aimee arrived for her test feeling extremely nervous, so nervous she struggled to get her words out when greeting the examiner. But once she settled behind the wheel, she showed exactly what she’s capable of. Her driving was calm, controlled and confident, earning her some fantastic feedback from the examiner.
As an automatic driving instructor covering Swanwick, Ripley, Alfreton and Codnor, it’s always rewarding to see a learner overcome their nerves and perform at their best when it matters most. Aimee has worked hard throughout her lessons, and today that effort truly paid off.
I also want to say a big thank you for the thoughtful gifts, including my new mini learner car, which now has pride of place. The words in your card were incredibly kind and genuinely appreciated.
Teaching Aimee has been a pleasure from start to finish, and I’m definitely going to miss our lessons. She’s developed into a capable, safe and confident driver, and I’m excited to see her enjoying the freedom that comes with a full licence.
👏 Congratulations again, Aimee, you should be really proud of yourself. Drive safely and enjoy every moment on the road. 👏
