A huge well‑done to Josh Goulding from Ripley, who passed his driving test first time today with an excellent drive and only 2 driving faults. This is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the hard work, consistency, and commitment he has shown throughout his lessons.
Josh received great feedback from the examiner, who praised the overall standard of his driving. He also handled the challenging road conditions around the Ashfield Driving Test Centre, including the increasingly infamous potholes, some of which feel like they belong on the surface of the moon rather than a test route.
A special mention goes to the private practice Josh completed with his mum, which clearly boosted his confidence and helped reinforce the skills we worked on during lessons. Consistent, structured practice outside of lessons can make a huge difference, and Josh is a perfect example of how effective that combination can be.
Josh has an incredibly important year ahead of him, and today’s result is another positive step toward making life better for the people he cares about. His determination, resilience, and sense of responsibility have been clear throughout his training, and it’s been a privilege to support him on this journey.
Congratulations again to Josh on a well‑deserved first‑time pass. He should be extremely proud of what he’s achieved.
