Congratulations to Matilda Davies – First Time Pass!

I’m delighted to share the fantastic news that Matilda Davies from Codnor has passed her driving test first time with just 1 driving fault. 🚗💨

Matilda’s journey has been a real privilege to be part of. When she first started lessons, nerves were a big factor – something many learners can relate to. Over time, with patience, practice, and determination, she grew into a confident, capable driver. The transformation has been brilliant to watch.

Her test day was far from straightforward. Sitting behind her in the car, I witnessed what can only be described as one of the most challenging tests you could imagine. The weather was against her, impatient drivers added pressure, and to top it off, multiple bin lorries on a housing estate seemed to be performing synchronised manoeuvres right in her path.

Despite all of that, Matilda handled every situation calmly and skilfully. She showed resilience, quick thinking, and the ability to stay composed under pressure – exactly the qualities that make a safe and confident driver.

I couldn’t be more proud of how she rose to the occasion. Passing first time with just one fault is an outstanding achievement, and Matilda should be incredibly proud of herself. 👏👏
